Newsletter International Affairs: Autumn 2020
This semester we talk about the MIA lecture series, an incredibly captivation conversation between Prof. Christoph Frei and Guest Prof. Mohammad Mohamedou in which they discuss the state of the state. We look back at the 2020 MIA fundamentals week and though we were able to host on campus, of course it was with some changes. A highlight of the event was Ria Thomas and her insights into cyber corporate governance.
We get to meet MIA student Isabelle Diserens and hear about her academic internship at the Swiss Embassy as well as from Thomas Visneider on his take of the course "Energy and Climate Governance" and send out a huge congratulations to Fernando Monte Abrahao on being awarded the Paul Alther Prize for best thesis in Law and International Affairs.
This semester we meet MIA alumnus Janos Ammann and follow him and his move to Brussels and MIA alumnus Dominik Isler as the presidents delegate for the curation of the very anticipated HSG Learning Center. Faculty highlights include a warm welcome to Assistant Professor Laura Seelkopf and a big congratulations to Prof. Christoph Frei for winning the SEPS Teaching award. |
