
The University’s areas serve for teaching, research and learning and are the seat of the University Administration. The House Rules aim to ensure that the University of St.Gallen can fulfil these functions without interference.

- Posters are only permitted on the allocated notice boards and with permission. People or bodies responsible for the posters must be identified on them.
- Likewise, decorations, banners, flags and similar objects other than those of the University are not permitted.

Any soliciting, peddling and begging is prohibited as a matter of principle throughout the University grounds, i.e. in all areas. Likewise, the distribution or display of samples, flyers or other printed matter is only permitted with an exemption permit. In the context of stand campaigns, flyers and similar items (connection with the specific stand campaign must be ascertainable) may be displayed directly on the stand. Collections of money and signatures are also only permitted with an exemption permit.
